You know those days when you just CBA ? … (Can’t Be Asked/Assed)
Well, on those days, I prioritise one thing and one thing only: Quick comfort.
When I don’t really like spending too much time getting ready, I find easier ways to look somewhat put together. Some examples:
Almost all of the pieces in this look were purchased in charity shops or on the mobile app ‘DEPOP’ ssssoooo no there is no tracing to be done !
Isn’t this street art amazing ?! #JustAnotherDayInShoreditch
When you’ve just finished ‘jjzjzjzjzujzzjing your hair before a photo is taken ! …
Location: Shoreditch Market
It may be cold outside, but I don’t intend to wear any garments that match the grey weather 😉
I L.O.V.E this coat. I feel like I’m going to live in this coat for the next 5 months; lets see how much use I can get out of this baby ! I’ve been eager to keep my hair protected from the effects of the chilli breezes with protective styles. Dry hair = Weak hair
#FunFact – The more moisture the hair can retain, the higher the chances are that your hair will retain length.
This hat from H&M is a fab way of accessorising an outfit while keeping my hair protected from the rainy sky.
Below is my bestie Jamie-Lee. She has an amazing sense of self and style. <3

This t-shirt though, haha !
What a perfect and true statement. When ever I invest in a new coloured piece, I’m always tempted by the black version. Black = Easy + Chic <3
Here is an outfit I created for a casual day of running errands in lovely London town. Although the sun is out less, I still like to shelter my eyes from the brightness of day (especially on a Monday morning, haha).

Yup, my eyeballs are faulty ! #Genetics #IForgiveMyParents
So, I have made this most of it. Glasses are an epic accessory and my bad eyesight gives me a legit reasons to wear them (unlike all the ‘try hard hipsters’ out there! :P)
As time has passed my eyesight has gotten worse, which has been a perfect excuse to get a new pair of glasses ever year. I usually buy my frames online and have my opticians put in the lenses.
Here they are !

This dress is my favourite clothing purchase of the season … without a doubt !
The high neck and long sleeves make it perfect for Autumn and Winter. And it’s so easy to wear this dress for any occasion. You can go from styling it with a pair of Converse trainers, a leather jacket and a backpack to throwing on some high heels and a tailored blazer for a more formal affair (As I have here).
This was the dress I wore in the photography with the band TROPE.

I have a soft spot for matching pieces. A Co-ord is the ultimate 2 for 1 ! There is so much potential for styling these pieces separately or together and the blazer is perfect for Autumn/Winter.
If you haven’t already noticed, green is my favourite colour so when I saw this suit on ASOS, my heart stopped. I’ll be wearing it to casual and formal event alike

Formed in summer 2014, TROPE performed our debut at Mostly Jazz Funk & Soul Festival, playing own own take on the music of Stevie Wonder. The following year has seen us collaborate with Young Pilgrims, perform at the Rich Mix Youth Takeover in London and support New York based pianist Kris Bowers (Kanye West, Jay Z, Marcus Miller).
Recently, we have been in the studio working hard on recording their debut EP of original music ‘Butterflies & Dragons’. Jumping between soul, jazz & funk ‘Butterflies & Dragons’ incorporates all of our musical influences reaching as far wide as rock, hip-hop and classical music – narrated by a graceful string quartet throughout. This EP also features guest performances from brass ‘vibe’ powerhouse ‘Young Pilgrims’ and incredible saxophonist Joe Wright.

Dress is soon to be styled for an Autumnal day out … stay tuned 😉
As the weather changes, so do many other things … including my face !
Here are some of the beauty products that i’ve been using daily to create an Autumnal bronzed warm look.
Oxford Street – London
“The Autumn Leaves, drift by my window. The Autumn Leaves, of red and gold.”
My favourite season is upon us !! I absolutely LOVE Autumn. I can finally break out the clothes that are kept away all Summer and add a few new pieces to my wardrobe. This outfit features a few of my seasonal spurges; the majority of which will keep me as snug as a bug in a rug as the weather changes !

Inspired by ‘I am not my hair’ by India Arie feat. Akon, November 2005
India Arie is a singer-songwriter of the R&B, soul genre. She is known and appreciated for spreading positive and honest messages through her music.
She released her debut album in 2001. It included hits such as Video, Brown Skin, Ready for love and one of my favourites, Promises.
If you want to hear uplifting, well written, positive music (that’s free from any cursing), India is your Woman. I recommend that you check her out if you haven’t already.
Another of tunes that I adore is ‘I am not my hair’, from her third studio album ‘Testimony: Vol. 1, Life & Relationship’. Read why below.
I love those lyrics !
‘I am not your expectations !’
Wwwwwooo ! Hahaha !!
Anyone with specific and strong options about what you do with your life is wasting a lot of time and energy. (It’s quite funny when you think about it … )
When it comes to expressing creativity through your appearance, India Aria sums up by opinion perfectly. Be it hair, clothes, tattoos or otherwise !
