AUTUMN IS HERE !
Downside = the weather Upside = … the weather !
Believe it or not, I love Autumn because it’s the most predictable season in the UK. We can all be sure that it’s gonna be chilly and that packing an umbrella is a wise decision. And it means that I can break out all of the lovely jackets and Winter coats that have been sleeping all Summer under by bed. I find that layering clothes allows you to give an outfit more character. Oh, I love it, I love it, I love it ! haha
Every year, I find that my style has changed a bit and the biggest indicator of what I like and don’t like is my Pinterest board. Here are a few pics that have inspired me this Autumn
And there are some clothes and accessories I have gotten to re-vamp my wardrobe. I can’t wait to style them and feature them on CorynaCoryna. Here is a taste of what’s to come 😉

Inspired by ‘Lets Groove’ by Earth, Wind and Fire, from the 1981 Album ‘Raise!’
Expression and creativity require continuous self-reflection. And to be honest, I find it quite exhausting at times. Don’t you ?
At times when I think that my brain is going to explode, I follow some advice that my Mother gave me … I turn on ‘Earth, Wind and Fire’, where the biggest grin possible and DANCE !!! (alone in my room :P)
Earth, Wind and Fire are as groovy as it gets, so I styled an outfit that fits; an updated funky and loud look.
As long as I’m working hard and feel fulfilled by my achievements … there’s nothing left to do but enjoy each day and BOOGIE ON DOWN !!! haha
Have a listen to ‘Lets Groove’ down below (The music video is pritty epic)

Inspired by the Album ‘The Real Ambassadors’ by Dave and Iola Brubeck, 1962
While searching for tunes performed by the iconic and legendary Louis Armstrong, I stumbled across this Album !
In the 1950’s during the Cold War, American musicians were a part of a campaign by the US State Department to spread US culture, music and propaganda internationally. Some of these musicians included Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman, Dizzy Gillespie, Dave Brubeck and Armstrong himself.
There presence was especially valued in the countries which had not clearly stated allegiance with the Soviet Union.
In 1962, the Brubecks collaborated with Louis Armstrong and his band to produce an album which is inspired by these Musicians and their roles as ‘Ambassadors’ for the United States. The album also features the Jazz vocal royalty, Carmen McRae and vocal group ‘Lambert, Hendricks and Ross’
#Perfection You should check it out !!
Concluding the Marseille Series
Here are a few more snaps from our Sisterly trip to the marvellous city of Marseille.
The time I spent with my sister was precious and cherished. I look forward to the years ahead and the memories that we will make together.
Thanks Poppy ! <3

Continuing the Marseille Series
Marseille is so unbelievably beautiful !
My sister Indea and spent the day visiting a friend and spending some ‘chill’ time on the beach. When living so close to the Thames in London, you can easily forget what colour the water is suppose to be.
This served as a perfect reminder 😉
(Look out for part 2 of Marseille avec ma Soeur. It’s coming soon !)
Continuing the Marseille Series
The purpose of this outfit is in the title !
In the heat, I wanted to wear something that was quick, easy and breathable. And I found it in this T-shirt dress.
I wore this outfit while touring around Marseille’s Old Port with my sister
(To see what we saw, check out the previous post)

Beginning the Marseille Series
Quartier des Antiquaires
Summer is almost over !!!
It’s gone so fast. In England, it seems like it barely even arrived !
For years, my sister Indea and I have said that when we were both legally adults, we would go on holiday asap. And we have kept that promise to ourselves ! While we originally intended to go to Paris, the warmth and beaches of Marseille made us change our minds 😉
Here are a few snaps of our first day in Marseille. I’ll be taking quite a few snaps so look out for a part 2 + 2 outfit posts !
A couple of weeks ago, I had the pleasure of meeting Yvonne Hercules – the Owner and power house behind the brand ‘Harris and Hercules’.
‘Harris and Hercules’ is an Online Vintage Boutique where you can find amazing Retro piece that have been picked out and revamped by Yvonne herself.
As is stated on the ‘Harris and Hercules’ website, its a …
‘…CLOTHING BRAND THAT FOCUSED ON RENEWABLE, ETHICAL FASHION THAT WAS AFFORDABLE AND UNIQUE BUT ALSO GEARED TOWARDS TRYING TO MAKING THE WORLD A BETTER AND FAIRER PLACE TO BE’
Doesn’t that sound fab And if you’re in Shoreditch, you should pop into the ‘Harris and Hercules’ boutique at
106 Commercial Street Market, Commercial Street, Shoreditch, E1.
When I went, I stubbled across these gorgeous bottle green flared trousers (as seen in the shot above).
From what I have seen, this is definitely a brand to watch ! Below are some of my favourite pieces from ‘Harris and Hercules‘. Look at that embroidered Jacket !! Stunning <3
Last Sunday, I had the pleasure of singing some of my favourite Jazz tunes at the Royal Albert in New Cross. It’s a fab venue with a cosy and chilled out vibe. On Sunday evenings, the Royal Albert plays host to all kinds of Jazz ranging from Bebop and Swing to Latin and Gypsy Jazz ! I love it
