DEBORAH LYON – LFW AW19 Collection

CorynaCoryna is back ladies, gents and beautiful individuals! And its with a bang indeed…. On Valentines day, the 14th of Feb, I had the privilege of featuring in the **Deborah Lyons** show for her **Autumn/Winter 2019 collection in London Fashion Week**! And what a stunning collection it is too… with themes of romance and mystery told through her designs, I was blown away by each of her pieces. And this was no ordinary fashion show…no runway walks, no aisle of important people watching professional models glide down the catwalk. On this occasion, the ‘models’ were a Jazz Band! And I was one of them! … I know right?!?! Amazing concept. I think it highlights just how wearable these pieces are for everyone!

On this day of looooovvvveeee I strolled through Piccadilly Circus towards Green Park. Usually when walking through this part of Central London, I am rushing to a restaurant gig to perform in the background as esteemed diners dish down. Or I’m window shopping in expensive retail shows while pondering how much even one purchase would decimate my bank account. But on this day I had a different, fresh and enthused pep in my step. I was on the way to model for Deborah while performing with a band full of instrumentalists I highly respect and enjoy playing with. Yes… the amount of pep in each of my steps was high indeed!

Deborah truly outdid herself with the design of this dress! A 3D vision of a bed of roses. To be able to showcase this for the first time on Valentines day felt so fitting! It felt so great to experience the meeting of both worlds. The appreciation of style with that of music and Jazz. Both at the forefront shamelessly!
